A Day Filled With Inspirations

A few weeks ago I decided I needed to take some advanced education to get inspired again. I got on my laptop and signed up for a class at the beautiful Larisa Love Salon in Studio City. The ever-so-talented Larisa showed us multiple techniques and shared some of her favorite color formulas. The class was fantastic and I learned some new techniques I can't wait to use in the salon! It is vital to invest in advanced education because this is what feeds my passion in my career. 

After getting fired up at the Larisa Love Salon, I had the chance to meet up with Thomas "Leche" Navarro and Gabby Espinosa, owners of Downtown Leche Salon located in downtown LA. They gave me a tour of their salon where I was lucky enough to go to the rooftop and watch the breathtaking views of the sunset reflecting off of the downtown buildings. It was here where we got to pick each others' brains and realize we have the same positive mindset, passion and drive for our careers. Not only were they passionate in hair, they were also passionate in giving back to the community and are apart of some amazing non profit organizations such as The Humble Project. 

My friends all know I am a big believer of THE SECRET and I truly believe everything happens for a reason. We attract people who are meant to be in our lives. I definitely felt that we were all on the same frequency at that moment and wanted to better one another in our passion in hair. So I am so excited to announce that we will be doing some collaboration with the Downtown Leche team! So stay tuned for some fun education workshops in the near future.
